Difference between Plant Cells and Animal Cells

Plant Cell

• Plant cells are larger in size.
• Plant cell contain cell wall outside plasma membrane.
• Plastids are present
• Large size vacuoles are present
• Lysosomes are either absent or very few in numbers.
• Food is store in the form of starch
• Centrosome is absent

Animal Cell

• Animal Cells are comparatively smaller in size
• Cell wall is absent only Plasma membrane is present
• Plastids are Absent
• Vacuoles are either absent or small in size
• More number of lysosomes are present
• Food is store in the form of glycogen.
• Centrosome is present.
